![]() 3 Halo: Spartan Strike Original Soundtrack.Hopefully whatever problem caused this is fixed in the future, but for now, this was the only method I found to have worked. The game will recognize it's not your data and you'll get a message about it, but just click past it and you can establish your own settings. ![]() So, in order for the game to work, go to that link, download the file, throw it in your Steam userdata, and then install the game in the same drive that Steam was installed on. I usually install my games on my HDD (more space there than on my SSD) while my general programs are on SSD, so installing Spartan Assault on my HDD while adding the 277430 folder in the Steam files that are on the SSD had no effect on the game. Now, this is the important part that wasn't included on the original TONYSOAD05 thread: You MUST install the game in the same drive that Steam was installed on. ![]() However, that didn't initially work for me and the black screen continued. What you have to do is go to this link to get the 277430 (Spartan Assault game files) and paste the file into your Steam\userdata\1060761167 folder. So, while I don't know what necessarily CAUSES the issue, it seems that not everything from Spartan Assault actually installs, no matter what you do. I can't take full credit for this - props to the TONYSOAD05 thread for bringing up the initial issue and rarestMeow for providing the necessary links.
